An exceptional opportunity has arisen with the requirement for a

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

 

Based in Perth Western Australia and reporting to the Product Manager, the Research & Development Engineer will oversee the conception and design of a manufactured product.

More specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a product design that fulfills the company or client’s strategic goals.
  • Integrating the needs of marketing, sales and manufacturing departments.
  • To oversee the research, design, testing procedures and draft specifications for manufacturing.
  • Direct the creation of models or samples and fine-tune designs until they are ready for production.
  • Deliver specifications and procedures to manufacturing teams who can then begin production.

The preferred appointee will be:

  • Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design
  • Approved and able to live and work in Australia imediately

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Project Management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Solidworks design package is mandatory (version 2012/13)
  • Be able to work individually or within a fast paced team environment.
  • Posseses Strong Knowledge in and the application of OHS principles.
  • Mining and quarry drilling consumable experience advantageous

Skills / Licences:

  • Skills in both English and Finnish
  • Proven Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Technical report writing skills in both English and Finnish
  • High level knowledge of manufacturing drawing requirements.

As the Business Controller, you will be supporting the group management in wide range of decision making varying from daily hands on tasks and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities include collecting and analyzing critical business data as well as developing of financial reporting systems with the team to ensure a high level of information.  You will report to Group Chief Financial Officer..

A suitable candidate has

  • Strong technical skill set and extensive background with business control and accounting on global level (preferably at least 5 years)
  • Capability to see the connection between operations, KPI’s and financial outcome
  • Experience applying IFRS is a benefit
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-pace environment
  • Understanding of the possibilities in ERP (experience in NetSuite is a benefit)
  • Proactive and positive mindset with a hands-on approach to work

As the Executive Assistant, you will be providing comprehensive administrative support to the Robit executives. You will act as the first contact point to different stakeholders, responding to incoming inquiries, preparing documents, reports, draft proposals and presentations. Your tasks include coordinating and managing meetings, appointments and complex travel arrangements, as well as managing other demanding administrative tasks in an international working environment.

A suitable candidate has

  • Strong social skills and service-minded, positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to details and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Suitable education (HSO or other applicable degree) and at least 3 years of experience in similar tasks
  • Fluency in English and Finnish languages
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime on projects and tasks as required, including occasional traveling in Finland and abroad

 We are looking for a professional

DRILLING SUPERVISOR

for field operations in the Asian region.

As a Drilling Supervisor you will be responsible for site tests and training of surface and underground drilling as well as giving technical support to customers and end-users. The position requires technical background and prior experience in underground and/or surface drilling. You are familiar with various drilling equipment, different rock types and their effect on the drilling process.

As a Drilling Supervisor, you will work closely with both internal and external partners, and an independent and proactive attitude, excellent co-operation and problem solving skills and good level of English language are essential. The task requires frequent traveling in the Asian region.

A suitable candidate has

  • Deep know-how in surface and underground drilling operations, applicable equipment and processes
  • Hands-on experience in site tests and drilling process analysis
  • Proactive and positive personality with a customer-oriented “can do” attitude
  • Technical background
  • Good documentation, reporting and communication skills in English
  • Flexibility and ability to travel in the Asian region (and occasionally globally)
